Imagine seeing Sega Bodega, Jayda G, Eris Drew or Sampha performing live at the same festival. It’s hard to believe, isn’t it? Read carefully! MELT Festival, which has been offering an experience that is unique in Germany for more than twenty years, has just added more than thirty new artists to the lineup of its 2024 edition. Taking place from July 11 to 13 in Ferropolis, Gräfenhainichen, tickets are on sale now to see these and many more artists. Read all about it.
Our expectations for MELT Festival are always very high, and they continue to prove why. If you remember well, the 2023 edition was a blast (if you don’t, here’s our review) we enjoyed the concerts and DJ sets of METAL 47 cover star Shygirl, Folamour, Nia Archives, Brutalismus3000, Erika de Casier, Call Super or Shanti Celeste, among many others. And keeping the bar as high (if not higher), the second wave of confirmed artists for 2024 is here to make us crave (even more) the summer days and the feeling of being at an open-air festival in such a unique location – the open-cast mine in Gräfenhainichen.
So far, MELT had already confirmed many names we’re looking forward to seeing live: from METAL 49 cover star Eartheater to house royalty Honey Dijon, to Skepta, Isabella Lovestory or James Blake. And now, there are even more: Sampha, who will present his latest album Lahai, Jayda G, Sega Bodega, Vegyn (live), A Song For You, Funk Assault, OK Williams, Jasper Tygner and No Guidnce, among others. All of them will meet in July, offering an experience suitable for all tastes through a diverse and cross-genre lineup that continues to consolidate the German festival on the global scene.
Being one of the greatest exponents of the zeitgeist between off-pop and electronic music, as Florian Czok, festival director and booker, says, MELT 2024 has already begun its countdown. We can’t ignore Sita, who has also been confirmed today and will make us dance with Diabla, her latest release (see our review). If you don't want to miss this unique experience, go get your tickets on their website!
