First of all, thank you to everyone who participated in the latest edition of Conero Film + Adv festival, which after months of preparation and jury deliberation, finally took place in Italy just last weekend. Surrounded by the magical nature at Conero Park (Italy) and an incredibly warm, welcoming human environment, the second edition of the festival/competition was a success. With a focus on sustainability in innovative film productions, the festival celebrated the winners across twenty main and craft categories.
As a member of the jury, it was hard to pick among the many proposals we received. We were happy to see so many people participating: over eight hundred films from thirty-four different countries got submitted, but only sixty were selected for screening at the festival. That’s an incredible growth compared to last year’s inaugural edition. Organised by Local Bizzarro and MontanariPR, Conero Film + Adv will surely continue to grow as the focus on sustainability becomes more important in the immediate future and the growing concerns within the creative community keep making us reflect that in our work.
Speaking of this year’s success, festival founder Mattia Fiumani said: “The Conero Film + Adv 2024 event successfully united the worlds of film and advertising in a format that promotes both creativity and sustainability. This year, in particular, stands as a significant moment in the festival’s development. We have redefined the event through its location and format, expanded through our jury and programming, while maintaining a strong connection with our community. As the festival continues to grow, it is becoming a transformative force in the industry, proving that impactful storytelling and environmental responsibility can thrive together.”
