For the 25th anniversary issue of Interview magazine, editor-in-chief Ingrid Sischy decided to put on the cover a very young and sweet Leonardo DiCaprio turned into a sexy ‘lolito’ asking for a kiss by Bruce Weber. The June cover became a prophetic announcement of what the actor – nineteen years old back then – would become in the future: one of the most praised figures in Hollywood, and a sex symbol for an entire generation.
