Marni x Carhartt WIP invites us to let ourselves be carried away by the funk spirit through a carefree journey. This collaboration is embodied in the mix of fabrics, colours, shapes and artistic all-over clover prints worn by the likes of iconic artists like Bootsy Collins. The two brands have created a symbiosis between their distinctive styles resulting in a new approach to functionality and the Carhartt WIP workwear style.

The ready-to-wear collection introduces a mix of materials such as corduroy and canvas in the jacket and overshirt, and shearling finishes on such distinctive garments as the Michigan coat and four-pocket waistcoat. The details are a nod to 1989, for example, the golden heart-shaped buttons like the ones we could find in Carhartt that year. Colourful t-shirts play with the Carhartt WIP logo, or sweaters featuring a shared logo with striking all-over motifs, all accompanied by a line of accessories for men and women featuring hats, trainers and a duffel bag with the same print. To celebrate this creative collaboration, Carhartt WIP will hold a jam session at the Marni flagship shop of Montenapoleone during Milan Fashion Week.
