Known for portraying queer nightlife in Berlin, Spyros Rennt now shifts the focus to capture more intimate, special moments. In a world that grows more cruel and dehumanised, the Greek photographer feels like now is the time to share our stories of love, empathy, self-reflection, friendship, and vulnerability. That’s where his fourth self-published book, Intertwined, is born from.

“My work has always celebrated queer visibility, but with Intertwined, I wanted to focus on the quiet power of intimacy,” Rennt explains. “In these challenging times, the connections we share with friends, lovers, and our communities have never felt more vital. This book is my testament to those fleeting, transformative moments of closeness.” Always camera in hand, Rennt is able to snapshot those moments perfectly.
To celebrate his new book, he’s doing a launching event next Thursday, March 27th, as well as a  short-term exhibition together with Buero Wolff | Jordan at Reichenbergerstr. 121, Kreuzberg., on view until the 30th of March. Exploring desire, closeness, and intimacy, Intertwined aims to bring us together and celebrate community.
