Being an extension of its brand identity and embodying its creative concept of dualism coexisting in order and disorder, Songzio has just opened its first boutique in Paris, in the heart of Le Marais. The Korean fashion house, which debuted at Paris Fashion Week earlier this year—where we went backstage and shared with you the stunning photos Theo Frémont took there—and presented its Spring/Summer 2025 collection in the French capital months later, now invites us to dive into its mesmerising creative universe in its newly opened boutique.
Jay Songzio, the brand's creative director, and Hypnos XP, a renowned architecture studio based in Paris, have collaborated to design the Songzio flagship store, located at 10 rue Charlot, by blending Parisian classicism with Korean modernism. Symmetry and asymmetry, light and darkness, curves and angles, mass and division, contrast, and the exploration of duality, which have become one of the fundamental pillars of its brand identity, are now materialised in this new store with a distinct contemporary and modernist style.
Featuring a striking neo-brutalist concrete facade integrated into a Haussmannian building, the boutique spreads across five spaces and two floors and allows private guests to explore exclusive pieces from Songzio’s runway collections. “This concept is exhibited through a modernistic architectural design, pure choice of raw materials, calculated use of light and reflections, as well as dramatic curation of Songzio’s artworks, which imbues a strong sense of emotion to this stoic space,” the brand adds.
