Badu, also known as the Neo Queen of Soul, has infused her eclectic sensibility into a series of carefully constructed garments, delivering spirited women's ready-to-wear clothing, statement-making accessories, and footwear. The limited-edition Marni x Erykah Badu capsule features an explosion of colour, showcasing multicoloured sequin jackets, two-toned oversized blazers, bold knit capes, metallic leather thigh-high boots, statuesque hats, and psychedelic headscarves.
The collection was co-designed by Marni's creative director, Francesco Risso, and builds on Marni Jam, a program that calls upon the brand's multidisciplinary community.
