If you’re in Paris, make sure to visit Erwan Filidori’s new exhibition, 3, at Bonjour Jacob. Located at 28 Rue Yves Toudic, at the heart of Strasbourg-Saint-Denis, the cosy multifunctional space hosts the young photographer’s first solo show, where he turns his lens to a mix of architecture, styling, and travel until February 2024.
“The number 3 is important to me,” Erwan explains. “It represents balance, self-expression, and a free-thinking spirit, which sums up pretty well what I’m presenting here,” he concludes. Raised in Burgundy, in the French countryside, but based in Paris, the multi-hyphenate artist has previously worked in fashion and communication, a path that has clearly informed the way he looks at the world around him. In his first solo show, we see his interests intermingling, from cars and buildings to stylish people on streets around the world, to vendors or the beauty of nature.
