Another day, another Juergen Teller campaign. This time, the German photographer is taking us on a quick stroll around Milan for the Winter 2026 campaign by Bottega Veneta. From colourful outdoor sets and brutalist buildings to decadent interiors, the soul of the Italian city breathes through Teller’s snapshots.
But don’t think for a second that the surroundings are the main characters of the Winter 2026 campaign. Yes, they’re there for a reason — to reflect Bottega Veneta’s connection to the city, from Fondazione Pagani to Villa Terenzio Belloli. Still, Louise Trotter’s magnificent collection—rich in texture, colour, and volume—takes centre stage. Her commitment to craftsmanship oozes from every picture. And thanks to Juergen Teller’s expert eye, it’s even more elevated.
That tension between monumentality and intimacy is where the campaign really clicks. The concrete and open-air sculptures give the clothes somewhere solid to push against, while softer, quieter moments prevent the images from feeling like an architectural tour. And perhaps that is the smartest part of the project: it lets craft speak without resorting to the usual close-up worship. Texture is felt through contrast, volume through space, and colour through the city around it. Trotter and Teller make a convincing pair—not because either disappears, but because both know exactly when to step back.
