On the final day of Paris Fashion Week, Chanel went back to the jaw-dropping Grand Palais to stage its Spring/Summer 2025 show (read our review here). The first collection after Virginie Viard stepped down as creative director, and among growing rumors of Hedi Slimane (now that he’s out of Celine) about to take over the Maison before the end of the year, was a pleasant one. But we focused on the clothes already, so today’s the turn of admiring the beautiful mugs of the models thanks to Chanel Beauty.
When you have models like Mica Arganaraz, Vittoria Ceretti, Sacha Quenby, Hyunji Shin, Kai Newman, Stella Hanan or Xu Wei on your line-up, it’s easy to make them glow as the stars that they are. But that doesn’t take away from the fact that the Chanel Beauty team knows how to enhance someone’s natural beauty. For the S/S 2025 collection, they decided to keep the makeup pretty simple with super hydrated, natural-looking lips (using Rouge Coco Flash 54 Boy) and soft, peachy cheeks (using Joues Contraste Intense Rose Ardent).
However, they also gave the models a vibrant gaze thanks to a bold, strong black line over their eyes. To achieve the result, the makeup team applied Stylo Yeux Waterproof in 88 Noir Intense inside the upper waterline, then traced a straight think line along the base of the upper lashes with Le Liner de Chanel Noir Profond. The icing on the cake is an adhesive sequin strip (created by Chanel) placed over the liner, which gives the eyes a glimmering appearance despite its intense darkness. Oh, and of course, Mascara Le Volume de Chanel 10 Noir on the upper lashes to make them monumental.
