Tim Shatnyy
Creating Worlds Through Sound

Offering a nearly tactile and visual experience of a sound, Tim Shatnyy's just-released album, Beyond Dualism, invites us to take part in a multi-sensory experience through eleven tracks, which is the result of an ongoing process of inner listening, constant change, and spiritual inquiry. The Basel-based producer is not only releasing his new musical project but also inviting us to dive into his personal creative cosmos at the forefront of the high-concept universe.
“I thank all my teachers for their sincerity, knowledge, and belief in my potential as an artist. I thank my parents for all the opportunities given and for believing in me and my path. I thank all the friends and people I have met on my journey of shaping the creator in me,” the artist shared a couple of days ago on his social media, in a post in which he thanked the constant support and help of his inner circle, as well as his collaborators, including Oleg Bordachev, Nikita Zabelin, Atrice, and Dima Garmanov. With the album he's now presenting, Shatnyy jumps to the next level by combining a game, an Instagram bot, and a generative radio.
Creating a perfect balance between a dynamic tension of minimalist electronic music, funky glitch, club-ready heaviness, and a boundless and idiosyncratic approach of disorientating arrangements, Beyond Dualism is a perfectly closed cycle of artistic creation, featuring hyperrealistic sound design and visionary manipulation on meta-levels of composition. And that's not all; this new project also offers an alternative way to listen to the album, Beyond Dualism Radio, presenting generative versions of tracks from the album, which are morphed together into one never-ending stream, as well as an extended experience of the album, Beyond Dualism Game.
