After a successful debut in Berlin in 2024, Tempio Festival returns to Milan from September 18 to 21, reclaiming the Tempio del Futuro Perduto and Fabbrica del Vapore with four days of music, performance, and critical culture. Spread across over 4,000 m² of industrial venues and gardens, the festival offers a bold, multidisciplinary alternative to Milan’s mainstream events. The programme merges electronic music, contemporary dance, visual arts, poetry, and thought, creating space for diverse voices and artistic experimentation.
This year’s musical lineup bridges international and local scenes. Detroit legends Octave One headline with a live show on a custom-built 4D outdoor stage, alongside names like Rrose, Ben Sims, Mell G, and The Exaltics. A highlight includes a hybrid piano-electronic performance by Fabrizio Rat. The festival also shines a light on Italy’s underground talent, featuring artists such as Elisa Bee, Diora Madama, Dolce Potente, and Iride, key figures in Milan’s electronic and experimental scenes.
Tempio Festival expands beyond club culture. Expect dance performances, art installations, photography, and critical talks. Early confirmed guests include Claudia Attimonelli, Eddi Marcucci, and Pierpaolo Farina. Highlights include Lègami, Legàmi, a photo series by Shyla Nicodemi exploring Milan’s sex-positive communities, and Poesia Techno, a new poetry collection by Tommaso Dapri, Tempio’s founder. Wellness spaces, street food, and cultural collaborations with Milan’s Chinatown community round out the programme.
Founded as a cultural occupation in 2018, Tempio del Futuro Perduto has become one of Italy’s leading independent cultural spaces. This September, its festival returns home with a vision of connection, resistance, and artistic freedom. You can get your ticket here.
