Øyunn’s free-spirited Feed The Good gets an upbeat electro remix courtesy of Trentemøller.
Shapeshifted from the original single that came out last summer, here the Norwegian drummer, vocalist and rapper’s dreamy, impish vocals meet a freshly dialled-up bass for an infectious slice of rocktronica. Maintaining Øyunn’s original lyrical message, Feed The Good tells listeners to speak kindly to themselves and value the friendships that bring joy, more specifically to feed that energy. The track now features rising builds that disperse into a satisfying whirl of beats. What’s sure is this track will be getting bodies moving far beyond the canals of Copenhagen — where Øyunn and Trentemøller are based.
Speaking on the collaboration, Øyunn shares, “I feel so honoured to have Trentemøller, who I’ve listened to since I was little, make a rework of my song. The first time I heard the finished mix I was on a boat in the channels of Copenhagen and couldn’t stop dancing!” Feed The Good is primed for summer party season, capturing the magic of dancing with your mates, whether that be in the heat of the dancefloor, a scenic boat ride, or in festival fields.
