As days get longer and the weather finally improves, many of us begin to open our calendars and slowly plan the summer. Festival announcements start appearing, clubs reveal their residencies, and suddenly the season ahead begins to feel real. One of those announcements that instantly puts Ibiza back on the radar is the return of Metamorfosi to Amnesia Ibiza.
This summer, Joseph Capriati brings his project back to the club where the story first began. The moment carries a certain significance, as Amnesia celebrates its fiftieth anniversary in 2026. Capriati’s return to the booth that witnessed part of his rise, therefore, feels like a natural fit for the occasion. The residency will run every Tuesday from June 30th to September 29th, positioning itself as one of the key nights of the island’s upcoming season. Since its launch, Metamorfosi has been shaped by a clear idea: putting the music and the dance floor at the centre of the experience.
“This year Metamorfosi returns to Amnesia, and it’s a very special moment,” Capriati says. “Coming back to such an iconic club means a lot to me. We are living in a time when music and true clubbing need more attention than ever, and the island is asking for it too, spaces where music truly comes first.”
Across the Terrace and the Club Room, the programme brings together artists from different generations. The lineup features widely respected figures such as Richie Hawtin, Jamie Jones, Seth Troxler, Ben Klock, Maceo Plex and Dubfire, alongside artists who have been shaping the current moment on dance floors around the world. Names like Chris Stussy, Mau P, Josh Baker, Max Dean and Cloonee bring a newer energy to the residency, while artists such as BLOND:ISH, Damian Lazarus, WhoMadeWho, Freddy K, Traumer, Fatima Hajji and Wade expand the musical spectrum across the season. At the same time, Metamorfosi continues to support emerging talent within the underground scene. Artists including Yanamaste, Alarico, Serafina, Adiel and Quest form part of a new generation that the project has been closely following.
Each Tuesday will unfold between the Terrace and the Club Room, two spaces that allow different atmospheres to coexist within the same night. For Capriati, the intention remains simple: “What we do comes from a deep love for music, and we want to share that with the crowd.” Or, as he puts it himself, “See you on the island.”
