A puzzle-like pose was what Richard Avedon envisioned for the 1995 Versace Jeans couture campaign. Being true to its identity, the Italian house used the top models of the moment to highlight the exuberant sexiness. Nadja Auermann and Claudia Schiffer thus appeared smiling wearing just a pair of jeans, some sky-high stilettos and opera gloves, which gave the sense of couture to the image.
