Britpop was at its peak when The Face featured a nose bleeding Robbie Williams on its January 1999 cover. Few months earlier, the singer had left his preppy boy band colleagues (the members of Take That) to become a pop star on his own. After spending some time at rehab, as the cover prophesised, he achieved his dream and, nowadays, the main name that rings a bell from the Brit group is his. Was it worth it? We suppose so.
