Since we spoke to Luis de Javier for the first time more than six years ago, the life of the Spanish-born London-based designer has changed a lot. His vision of fashion, free and daring, has spread throughout the world and his creative universe has been highly praised by the industry. Ricardo Tisci was quick to become his mentor after noticing his promising talent and now, after presenting his Spring/Summer 2024 collection, La Ruta del Bacalao, a few months ago, he has just debuted at Paris Fashion Week. Photographer Manel Dart was backstage yesterday moments before the show and now we're sharing his stunning images.
Despite having internationalised his brand and having gained the support of some of the most powerful names in the fashion industry, Luis de Javier has never forgotten where he comes from. His roots, condensed in some of the most recognisable aesthetic elements of the Spanish tradition, merge with a vision of contemporary and sensual fashion. His Spring/Summer 2025 collection, which he presented yesterday in Paris, not only includes a collaboration with Nike but an alliance with Betto García, one of the most interesting creative minds hailing from Spain.
The Valencian milliner, one of the leading Spanish representatives in this area, accepted Luis de Javier's invitation to take charge of a fundamental part of the collection, the montera seen from a contemporary perspective making it fit the aesthetic codes of the brand. The final result, shown yesterday evening on the runway, was an absolute success. Manel Dart's photos prove it
