Embracing change and self-development, Lennikim continues to show us his true self through his artistic project. Making music a powerful means of expression to free himself from all ties and share his most authentic version with the world, without artifice, the twenty-three-year-old artist now releases his new single, Adrenaline. The dark, brooding offering, taken from his upcoming EP, which follows early next year and will be his first record to be sung in English, presents him as a promising artist to watch.
“I've always wanted to do stuff like this, but I didn't always have the possibility or courage to go there because so much was expected of me back then, and I didn't want to displease anyone. I was afraid to disrupt anything,” says the Montreal-born artist, who started singing at thirteen, and his youth quickly became a whirlwind of opportunities. Since signing with Warner Music at a very young age, he started to release singles that became hits, toured across Europe, and became also known and respected as a young actor, having been featured in a number of films and TV shows.
Now, after having lived many high-intensity experiences in a short period, he is determined to do what he wants and express himself as he feels through music. “That's all I want to do. I'm always curious to see how further I can push things and experiment. I guess the message I want listeners to take away from. This is do whatever you want and give no fucks. The second you start listening to yourself, you win.” His album will be unveiled early next year, and it will be his first independently released project.
