Iann Dior is not interested in labels or limiting categories. Since the beginning of his artistic career, he has set out to do things differently and chart his own path guided by his identity and personality. With a clear mission, saying what he needed to say and letting the sound follow that, the multi-platinum artist has just released CYCLES, his new full-length album via Big Noise. Blending alternative, hip-hop, rock, and pop sounds into his own style, he pushes boundaries and dives deep into the highs and lows of modern life.
“I wanted it to be less perfect,” he shares. “I stopped editing out the flaws. Some of the best parts were recorded in one take with all the emotion still in my voice.” And it is precisely this organic and honest creative process that gives his new project, CYCLES, a unique sensibility and a captivating sound. It represents growth but also the ongoing journey of figuring things out. He explains, “I’m not trying to be the version of myself people expect. I’m trying to be the most honest version of myself, period. That’s what this album means to me.”
Not only has he just released his new album, but he's also unveiled the music video for his lead single.
