Danish duo Eros for you return today with Safe and Sound, a new single that moves comfortably between dance music and UK garage influences. Built around crisp two-step drums, warm sub bass, and bright synth textures, the track keeps the rhythm direct and club-ready while leaning into a more emotional topline.
Based in Copenhagen and signed in Paris, the project has been growing steadily over the past couple of years. With more than sixty thousand monthly listeners on Spotify, Eros for you continue to build a sound that feels both intimate and expansive. The duo often describe their work as “emotional dance music,” an idea that runs through Safe and Sound in both its production and its lyrical tone.
At its core, the track deals with the quiet aftermath of a relationship. Rather than focusing purely on heartbreak, it sits in a more nuanced emotional space. The song looks back at a past love with acceptance, holding onto the hope that the other person is doing well, even as life moves forward.
The release follows last month’s single Proud of Me. Speaking about that track, the duo shared: “We’re so happy to finally release this song. The track took shape through WhatsApp conversations with Chino, whilst we performed unfinished versions of it at our shows. We’re so excited about how it turned out and can’t wait to bring it to festivals this summer.” The duo will appear at this year’s Roskilde Festival, performing on June 30, where their mix of euphoric dance energy and emotional songwriting is expected to translate naturally to the live stage.
