Following this natural instinct, Emotional Oranges and Nonso Amadi are now uniting on stunning single Nowhere, their second collaboration following their well-received first song together, Not Worthy. But that's not all, this latest release is the first single from an upcoming collaborative EP between both artists titled Blended. A sign, no doubt, that both artists really enjoy working together.
Their new release, Nowhere, is the first step in a busy few months for both. “It's the second track we made with Nonso. He and Majid (from Majid Jordan) had started the song idea and it was something I immediately connected to. The message felt incredibly time sensitive, both in my personal life and with everything happening in the world,” Emotional Oranges responds when asked about the single, which is based on the idea of “no matter what's going on, you’re always going to be there for your person/people,” as they say.
Offering a smooth, atmospheric sound, Nowhere gives fans a satisfying taste of what is to come from this genius partnership by combining the hip-hop-infused R&B of Emotional Oranges and the intricate Afro-inspired sound of Nigerian artist Nonso. Today, they are not only releasing the song that leads off their collab EP but also Emotional Oranges has announced their EU/UK tour with Nonso Amadi, with tickets out on pre-sale today and on sale on November 17. On their 2024 UK/EU tour, they will hit the likes of Here at Outernet in London, Academy 2 in Manchester and Saalchen in Berlin throughout the month of March.
