Through vivid sonic storytelling, Demon Cake boldly interrogates the pillars of religion, the seductions of consumerism, and the fragile construction of personal identity. “We’re living in a comma / Dazed in the crowd / The taste is artificial / Intelligent demand,” he sings in this track which warns listeners of a present reality: our desires, ambitions, and deepest passions might already be scripted by unseen digital hands. This is a call to disrupt the future's trajectory before digital dominion overtakes human autonomy completely. "Demon Cake music video is out now. I had a blast filming this. Can we do this again? And make it more weird," the artist shared on his social media a few hours ago.
Aquino first landed in LA from Hawaii chasing a dream of playing hockey, but an injury changed his plans and led him to discover a new passion into which he now pours all his energy, music. Channelling the chaos and charm of modern life through a feline lens, Cyber Cat God is inspired by The Police and Daft Punk, among others, and works to consolidate his artistic project on the global music scene.
