Cj Pandit has just released his second EP, +44. A four-track work with which the artist allows us to learn a little more about him, his vision and his way of understanding music, depicting freedom, reliance, change, self-confidence, guilt and what it means to push your boundaries creatively. Special mention should be made on the title track, which is “a song about that one person you turn to or call in your heaviest times,” as the artist himself indicates. The singer flees from restrictive labels and is committed to merging different musical and stylistic genres, demonstrating that a new way of doing things is possible.
“It's a look at the perceptions we have about each other, how much we can take and how heavy a weight we can bear. I might know a little bit about life but I'm nothing more than double denim wearing therapist when it all comes down to it,” adds Cj Pandit on track +44, which together with Boyfriend, 1,2, Free and If It Hurts, It’s Healing, make up this new EP. Embracing his curiosity and love of experimentation, Cj Pandit has been nurturing his growing fan base with his ever-evolving sound.
