At the beginning of September, we celebrated the commitment to sustainability that Samsøe Samsøe had shown over the years. Back then they had just presented their Spring/Summer 2023 collection, Gone Fishing, at Copenhagen Fashion Week’s last season. Now they announce their new collaboration with the Gore-Tex brand after the success of the first four capsule collections. Preserving its minimalist and urban design, the Danish brand joins forces with them again, offering ten new products, five for men and five for women. Special mention should be made on the images of this new campaign, in collaboration with digital artist Yilmaz Sen and showcased in a futuristic environment.

It is no coincidence that these new images and the video that they now reveal present extreme temperatures and climatic conditions that are difficult for humans to cope with. The changes in the environment are already evident in many parts of the world, and fashion should pay attention not only to design, but also to the functionality of garments. That's why this partnership celebrates craftsmanship, creativity and overall weatherproof functionality. “From a design and production point of view, it is a stimulating exercise to find the balance between performance and classic but updated silhouettes for everyday life,” says Meme Fagiuoli, Head of Womenswear, and Gitte Wetter, Head of Menswear at Samsøe Samsøe The collection will be available in stores, on Samsøe Samsøe website and at selected retailers worldwide, October 2022.
