After a magical first edition in Dakhla, Oasis: Into the Wild has some fresh and juicy news about this year’s event. Continuing its exploration of Morocco’s rich and wild landscapes, the second edition will take place at the mesmerising Atlas Studios in Ouarzazate from October 25 to 28. Joining the first round of confirmations we find Grammy Award-winning DJ and producer Honey Dijon, DJ Koze, Jyoty, Partiboi69, Romy, Louisahhh, Sofia Kourtesis, TSHA, and Mafalda, among many others.
The nomadic festival has upped its game this year. You’ve probably seen this year’s location in films like Gladiator and The Mummy, and TV series like Game of Thrones. The impressive Atlas Studios, a feast for the eyes, will host Oasis Into the Wild’s second edition, which is set to happen in a different place every year. To make justice to the location’s beauty, the organisation has also planned a stellar line-up combining international and local names. Some of them include house music icon and pioneer artist Honey Dijon, who’s won a Grammy Award as a producer of Beyoncé’s Renaissance; multi-hyphenate (DJ, musician, producer, and remixer) DJ Koze; Partiboi69, who’ll be doing a b2b with French DJ LB aka Labat; Homegrown-founder Jyoty (who also played a banging set last year); Romy, who’ll be presenting her new music; Kampire, a fresh rising talent from Uganda and part of Nyege Nyege collective; and producer and vocalist Sofia Kourtesis.

As usual, Oasis Into the Wild will also focus on the region’s culture by inviting local chefs, artists, and designers to present their work within the 3-day festival. As the festival director, Marjana Jaidi explained to us about the event’s philosophy: “The idea is to embody the destination that it’s in.”
