Have you recently seen some clips of Kate Moss laying down in a sofa and laying her soul bare? That’s because she’s participated in Bella Freud’s new podcast, Fashion Neurosis. It is one of the latest additions to an impressive rooster of content that both brands like Dior, Chanel or Louis Vuitton, as well as media outlets and platforms like SHOWstudio and The Business of Fashion are putting out. There’s a lot to unpack and to choose from, so to make it easier, we’ve selected our favourite fashion podcasts of the moment. Here’s our list.
Fashion Neurosis by Bella Freud
Every week, fashion designer Bella Freud invites a guest to lie down on the sofa and talk about the relationship between fashion and identity. From the importance of style and what we express through fashion, to anecdotes of our own, to discussions that touch on deeper issues such as love, identity, culture, anxiety and politics. A way of understanding and seeing fashion as a means to examine our inner life, our relationships, and society. Kate Moss, Jonathan Anderson, Daphne Guinness or Karl Ove Knausgard are some of the guests who have chatted with Bella.
The Cutting Room Floor
Fashion designer Omondi launched this podcast in 2018 as an outlet, at the time combining it with her own fashion label. Guests such as Cristopher John Rogers, Cindi Leive, Teri Agins, Mina White or Mickey Drexler have joined Omondi to answer those questions about the fashion industry that people have been asking for years. A space that allows you to get to know the ins and outs of the industry without filters.
Dior Talks
This is a space where the Maison invites artists, collaborators and friends who are part of Dior’s DNA to talk about topics such as its history, work or the challenges of tomorrow. You have four seasons available in which you can find personalities such as Tilda Swinton, Pharrell Williams, Kimberly Drew or Penélope Cruz.
