The single that Milky Sad just released, All I See Is You, is not only the opening track of his upcoming project but also a manifesto for youthful defiance that sets the stage for an EP that promises to awaken an imperfect teenage soul waiting to break free. The British artist, who seven years ago began releasing tracks regularly under the name Lil Image before reemerging as Milky Sad in a transformation that signalled both artistic rebirth and personal evolution, now presents a song that touches on the bittersweet process of getting over heartbreak while capturing the excitement of falling for someone new.
“It's a dynamic blend of emotion, moving between loss and the thrill of fresh possibilities,” Milky Sad tells us when we ask him about his latest track, All I See Is You, which comes along with a video performed by Jordan Houston and the singer himself. Raw energy meets British swagger in this explosive new single that carves its own path with distinct UK flair. “All I See Is You is all about feeling free and living life the way it should be. Special shoutout to my brother Billy Seeberg for giving this visual project to him all. I feel incredibly lucky to have him by my side on this journey; I really couldn't have done it without him,” he adds.
Making music a universal language for what he'd always struggled to express, he continues to capture the exhilarating feeling of freedom through his project, all while embracing the wide-eyed wonder of eternal youth. His upcoming EP, When Did We Stop Smiling, is set to be released on November 15th.
