To a lot of millennials, pets are the new kids. Literally. But for ages, cats and dogs (mostly) have been a crucial element to a happy family. Their unconditional love brings joy to our lives and, let’s face it, their cuteness overload does too. With this in mind, Pharrell Williams presents Louis Vuitton’s Spring/Summer 2025 Men’s Pre-collection under the motto ‘dog LVers’, putting corgis, German shepherds, huskies or Dalmatians at the forefront of the campaign. The animals look great and so do their two-legged companions, with effortlessly cool looks ranging from three-piece suits à la dandy to more urban, relaxed outfits. Let’s take a woof—sorry, a look!
Taking out the dog for a walk three to four times a day might be a dread to some humans (sorry though, you should’ve thought about it earlier). Only during the pandemic that activity became sought-after as it was one of the very few excuses to get some fresh air and escape the never-ending quarantines. With Pharrell’s new proposal though, these walks might take a positive spin—and a preppy one too. Inspired by the dapper dog walkers in New York City, the Men’s Creative Director of the French Maison presents a collection inspired by the figure of the dandy with lots of tailoring, trench coats, shirts, and knitwear jumpers.
Accessories play a very important role too: gold-embroidered caps, silk neckties, pocket squares and bandanas with elegant prints, the LV Super Vision sunglasses in shiny black with gold-metal rims, or jewellery pieces like necklaces and bracelets add the perfect final touch to the outfits. But bags and trunks are definitely the most eye-catchy, as Louis Vuitton has been perfecting them for over a century. In the collection, Maison icons like the Keepall, Soul Trunk or Montsouris Messenger are presented with both the Monogram Heritage motif and the Damier monogram in green or yellow nuances.
But the real stars of the show are the dogs, so this time around, Louis Vuitton also releases a canine collection made of accessories including a lead, collar, harness, plastic bag holder and thermos crafted in classic Monogram Canvas with VVN trims. In addition, it also features a pair of metal dog bowls set in a wood holder (and presented in a bone-shaped trunk in Monogram Canvas—very eye-catchy and funny). The icing on the cake is the dog-house trunk with the LVers logo embossed in a metal plate.
Oh, and one last detail. They say dogs and owners look alike and reflect each other’s personalities—and they’re not wrong. True to that statement, Louis Vuitton also releases a few items like berets or bandanas that are available both in human and dog sizes so you two can dress the same. How cute is that?
