French producer Kiko is heralding his decades-long career as an electronic artist with a special new album, Digital Family. Coming out in October of this year, these techno dance songs will nostalgically span his thirty-year career and include collaborations from the artists and producers who have taken part in his musical journey. To tease this exciting upcoming album, Kiko releases the first single, Second Life, with Agoria, which is out today and ready for the club.
Kiko has been making electronic music for decades; since the 1990s he’s been a key player in the electronic dance scene across the world. His music spans melodic techno infused with indie dance, and he’s known for collaborations with big electro artists like Tale of Us, Solomun, and David Guetta under his alias Jack Back. His newest album will be a testament to these legendary collaborations and features a range of artists such as Oxia, Rodriguez Jr., Vitalic, Kittin, Olivier Giacomotto, and more.
The songs on Digital Family are at once fresh and vibrant, each one unique from the last with a different artist featured on each track. Second Life kicks the album off with an upbeat and atmospheric sound, which no doubt will increase excitement over the other nine tracks. Kiko is cementing his place in the electro scene while paying an emotional homage to those who helped him along the way. Digital Family is a celebration of friendship and dance, and it’s one that is bound to last many decades more. Go listen to Second Life, out now!
