After the success of their two past collaborations and selling out in a matter of days, Dr. Martens and Heaven make their joint comeback to elevate and reinterpret Dr. Marten’s signature silhouette, Addina Bex, with a folk horror-inspired campaign starring social media star Aliyah.
Merging both brands styes, this third collaboration gives life to a subversive model inspired by the ‘90s fabric par excellence: velvet. Available in two colours –cherry red and black–, this new pair of shoes disrupts contemporary standards featuring the famous Heaven by Marc Jacobs two-headed bear on the buckle, interpreted as a love letter to the friendship bracelets of the ‘90s.
The classic style of Dr. Martens and the originality of Heaven transcend in a common space that gives rise to every aspect and detail of their collaborations, for example, this campaign stars the fashion artist Aliyah, creator of TikTok’s #aliyahcore trend, reflecting the androgynous and rebellious approach of both brands. Uniting aspects such as the functionality and resistance of Dr. Martens with the transcendence and popularity of Heaven, the collaboration will be available on October 20 at drmartens.com.
