“Yeah, bitch, I said what I said,” sings unapologetically Doja Cat in Paint the Town Red, her new song. In a very cinematic music video where she befriends the Grim Reaper and plays with eye balls and large meat pieces, the singer embraces her feral side and turns into a blue devil. “Mm, she the devil / She a bad lil’ bitch, she a rebel,” she continues. The music video is directed by Nina McNeely and uses acrylic paintings as different backgrounds, illustrated by Doja herself (although using her real name, Amala Dlamini). Since we’re all going to hell, at least let’s enjoy the ride!
