A pale model with a mysterious aura raises her eyes until they meet ours, and a delicate hand with small and elegant tattoos takes off a leather glove. That’s how we’re introduced to the Fall/Winter 2017 Haute Couture collection by the Franch maison Dior. Directed by Manon Gicquel and starring Greta Varlese and Codie Young while Sara Moon was taking the campaign pictures, the video turns into a dreamlike scenario where the models run in a liberating mood while wearing feminine and vaporous corolla dresses as well as thick wool coats with constructed lapels made by Maria Grazia Chiuri. The elegance and strength of black and grey in the winter clothes are combined with the fragility and subtlety of nude and lavender evening dresses, making the video the epitome of the Dior girl: strong, powerful, elegant and with a touch of magic.
