Chanel has unveiled their highly anticipated Fall/Winter 2024/25 Pre-Collection campaign, starring actress Camila Morrone. Photographed by Karim Sadli, the black-and-white images present the actress in an effortlessly sophisticated light, set against a timeless Parisian backdrop. Embodying the vintage-inspired elegance of Chanel’s latest collection, Morrone brings to life the glamour and refinement that have long defined the brand.
The campaign’s intimate setting, which takes place in a classic Parisian restaurant, exudes the elegance and mystery reminiscent of 1940s Hollywood. Morrone, captivated by this era, draws inspiration from its iconic female stars. The collection itself is a celebration of glamorous, ultra-feminine silhouettes. Key pieces include a long black openwork velvet dress, leather ensembles, and a silk chiffon top paired with a skirt adorned with a bow motif. Chanel’s signature tweed is reimagined as a vest top with a scoop neckline, while classic House details like camellias, embroidered bows, jewelled buttons, and bags with long chains and pearls add to the collection’s allure. Set against the Belle Époque decor, these elements create a festive atmosphere that blends the spirit of Paris with the golden age of Hollywood.
A central theme in this collection is the interplay between masculine and feminine elements—a balance that Gabrielle Chanel herself was known for and one that resonates with Morrone.
