That’s because the geniuses behind the successful brand’s marketing team love to mess up with our brains, constantly making us wonder what’s real and what’s not. The same thing happened when the first images of the new ephemeral Café Fleurs in Seoul, South Korea, popped up on our Instagram feed. Did they really build a café with the shape of one of Jacquemus’ most iconic handbags? Of course they did!
Café Fleurs by Jacquemus lands in the Korean capital bringing all the magic that is inside a bag, to offer the city’s inhabitants a unique, ephemeral experience. Located in the Seongsu-dong district, the 185-square-metre space is divided into a café, a florist’s shop, and a space reserved for the Fall/Winter 2023 Le Chouchou collection. The minimalist interior design is filled with cute little details, very on brand with Simone Porte Jacquemus’ vision.
So if you’re in the city, until October 29 you can visit the ephemeral space to grab your coffee –there are eight different drinks on the menu–, buy a white Lisianthus bouquet and, of course, get your hands on some pieces from the French designer’s latest collection.
From his first flower shop in Paris in 2021 to his vending machine concept in both Paris and Milan, or even the latest pop-up in Lake Como this past summer, Simone Porte Jacquemus’ vision is expanding globally through the magic of ephemeral pop-ups that are a feast for the eyes and the senses.
