Bottega Veneta has unveiled its fifth limited-edition fanzine, coinciding with the launch of its Winter 24 collection. The publication offers a glimpse into the creative process behind Matthieu Blazy's latest designs, featuring contributions from renowned artists and photographers.
The exclusive fanzine showcases the diverse inspirations that shaped Blazy's Winter 24 collection, from modernist references to contemporary art. A spirit of creative dialogue permeates the pages as artists and designers share their unique perspectives and influences. Alec Soth, a Magnum photographer, captured stunning images in Utah and Nevada for the fanzine's campaign. The publication also includes behind-the-scenes glimpses of the shoot and collaborations with photographer Vytautas Kumza and collage artist Judy Bowman. One of the highlights of the fanzine is the On the Rocks installation during Milan Design Week, a collaboration with Cassina and the Le Corbusier Foundation.
This installation featured the LC14 Tabouret Cabanon, a timeless icon of Le Corbusier design, alongside custom editions of the chair crafted in wood and Bottega Veneta's signature intrecciato. Vytautas Kumza's playful and expressive photographic compositions add a touch of whimsy to the fanzine, while Judy Bowman's collaged evocations of her childhood in Detroit offer a personal and nostalgic perspective. The fanzine is presented in a drawer slipcase, printed to emulate the special charred wood floor of the Winter 24 exhibition space. It is available on a first-come, first-served basis at Bottega Veneta stores around the globe.
