To celebrate the launch of the book "Ayami Nishimura by Rankin" and its exhibition in London, the two genius hosted the party in his Annroy Gallery in Kentish Town, with stunning pictures from the book which pushed the limits of beauty that current human could reach.
Rankin, one of the most established photographer and publisher who is known as a co-founder of Dazed & Confused, has collaborated with a Japanese renowned make-up artist Ayami Nishimura for the second of his beauty book trilogy, following the success of the first one with Alex Box 2 years ago.
In the book Ayami created futuristic images with vivid colours, fusing Japanese cultures from traditional arts to crazy street fashions in Harajuku, into many other inspirations such as nature and African tribes. This brilliant book will bring you to the cyber fantasy world of beauty.
The book Ayami Nishimura by Rankin is now available worldwide and the exhibition in Annroy Gallery runs until 31st August. Here are snaps from the launch party on 26th July.
