Back in July, we announced the partnership between Lewis Hamilton and Dior Men; the seven-time F1 winner, ambassador of the Maison and the epitome of its values, wanted to get involved in doing a collection that bridged Dior’s elegance and savoir-faire with his love for adrenaline and sports. Well, the time is now to introduce you to the capsule Dior Lifestyle drop, which focuses on skiing and snowboarding.
As the Maison puts it, this capsule collection “dreamed up by Kim Jones and Lewis Hamilton, guest designer and Dior ambassador”, can be described with words like “virtuosity, functionality, luxury.” With silhouettes that are especially designed to maximise the wearer’s comfort and freedom of movement, the clothes are made in ultra-resistant materials to overcome the cold temperatures and the rough, wild nature when it snows and freezes. Lensed by Rafael Pavarotti, the campaign stars Lewis Hamilton in wide-legged pants with oversized shirts and lots of layering, as well as ski ensembles. Highlights of the collection include accessories like the Dior 8 backpack and the Messenger Rider 2.0, and the shoes B44 blade and B33 sneakers.
