The five finalists for the fashion talent award Designer for Tomorrow by Peek & Cloppenburg Duesseldorf have been determined. Jury, including Marc Jacobs, have chosen the top five from more than 350 international applicants. Ramil Makinano, Camilla Salgaard Nielsen, Leandro Cano Luque, Siddhartha Anselm Meyer and Laura Williams will present their collections at the awards show in July 2012 during the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Berlin.
Attending to the Marc Jacobs words, "Camilla, Laura, Leandro, Ramil and Siddhartha are very talented designers whose fashions set them apart from the other applicants. Their concepts are well-rounded. The collections presented by the five finalists reflect their personalities and are accesible to a wide public. This is a considerable challenge for young designers".
