Coinciding with World Oceans Day, today we share with you Dior Men's Beachwear capsule collection in collaboration with Parley for the Oceans, for the second year in a row. The organisation's purpose is to take action against ocean pollution, which is why ninety six percent of the fabrics used by Kim Jones in this collection are recycled. However, what at first might seem like a somber premise Jones masterfully brings joy, creativity and colour to the line, through embellished pieces, coral pinks and lemon yellows contrasting to Jones' signature scale of greys.
Dior Men has designed for us a whole day full of educational content in order to raise awareness for the protection of our most precious ecosystems through Instagram, YouTube, Snapchat, TikTok, Twitter and Pinterest. At 4 pm CET, on Twitter Spaces, there will be a live session dedicated to ecological issues featuring Parley for the Oceans' founder Cyrill Gutsch, Dior's product development and sustainability's Senior Director Rémi Macario, Natalia Culebras who's responsible for Dior Men's sustainable design and Emma Davidson, Dazed's fashion reports Director.
