Toronto-based Zorza steps into a defining moment with BADBOYS, out today alongside its music video. The release also marks the official launch of 4ever Music, her own imprint, setting the tone for what feels like a carefully built next phase.
Created with Belgian duo Promis3, BADBOYS comes out of their first in-person studio session last summer, after years of exchanging ideas online. That shift is felt throughout the track. It moves with a certain immediacy, where layered vocals and sharp production hold a balance between emotional pull and physical intensity, never quite settling into one space.
When we spoke with Promis3 in METAL a few weeks ago, they were already pointing toward this collaboration. Andras described how working with Zorza had brought a new spark into their process, shaped by both studio dynamics and the energy of their live sets. Hearing BADBOYS now, that moment reads as an early glimpse of what was already taking shape.
BADBOYS was written during our first in-person studio session together last summer in Belgium,” Zorza explains. “Promis3 and I had collaborated online in the past, but finally being able to discover our chemistry IRL encouraged both of us to push the boundaries of our own sound and create something really unique to the hyper-dance genre.” Visually, the release extends that same atmosphere. Directed by Lorenz Stanislaus, with creative direction and production by Simulated Paradise, the video leans into a stylised world that mirrors the track’s shifting intensity without over-explaining it.
The launch of 4ever Music feels like a natural continuation of something Zorza had already been building. First introduced as a party series empowering artists to spotlight their unique sound and transport listeners into a different dimension of hypertechno, hard dance, and trance, now it takes shape as a label, extending that vision into something more lasting.
4ever Music is the imprint Zorza built to give the new wave of hyper-techno, hyperpop, hard-dance, and trance a home, a space for sounds that do not quite fit anywhere else. “I wanted to create a home for music that may not necessarily fit in the traditional dance scene,” she says. “It’s fun, it’s bright, it’s 4ever Music. 4ever Music is a place for musicians to explore beyond the bounds of traditional dance music genres.”
At the same time, Zorza is currently immersed in her Zpring Tour across Europe, moving between cities and club contexts that echo the energy of BADBOYS. In recent weeks, she has played in Berlin, Bordeaux, and Marseille, with upcoming dates set for Reims, Apt, and Manchester later this month. With BADBOYS setting the tone, 2026 is already shaping up to be a key year for Zorza. The launch of 4ever Music marks the beginning of a broader vision, one we’ll be following closely as it unfolds over the coming months.
