You know when you're having one of those restless nights when you need background noise to go to sleep? The noise of one of Juliette’s machines served as the inspiration for Pearls and The Oysters’ new single, Konami, a mixture of ‘90s sounds capable of transporting the listener to an arcade; out today!

Konami means small wave in Japanese, and it also makes reference to the video game company and as the duo said “The beat reminded us of the kind of music associated with ‘90s jet ski arcade games like Wave Shark!” A song built through analogue sounds, a fun rhythm but one that takes us back to the nostalgia of the past. The lyrics, sung by a sweet voice, have that psychedelic touch that, with the music video, take you to a world of hypnotic colours.
