Ladies and gentlemen, please turn off your cell phones. The show is about to start. Well, not really. Unfortunately, theatres and venues worldwide have cancelled shows due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Fortunately for us, Alessandro Michele and filmmaker Gus Van Sant take us backstage of a rehearsal in the fourth episode of the GucciFest seven-part series, which started Monday night.

In the new piece, we follow Silvia Calderoni to the theatre, where she rehearses with the group as well as with Sasha Waltz, a renowned German dancer and choreographer. Battling with anxiety and nerves, she does some breathing exercises and coordinated stretches with American playwright Jeremy O. Harris (known for his plays Slave Play and Daddy) before meeting the audience. A story about overcoming your fears, working hard, and staying true to oneself.
