How can time go by so fast? In the blink of an eye, it’s already August. But instead of worrying about summer’s latest month, I’d rather focus on the best things to come: holidays and, of course, more music festivals. One of them is yet to come: DGTL, which is taking place in Barcelona on the 10th and the 11th of August. And in addition to its incredible line-up and being environmentally conscious, there’s another reason why I can’t wait to go: the new collaboration between Komono and Pierre Debusschere, as part of the Belgian brand’s project Komono On Tour.
From June to September, Komono has been – and will be – in eight festivals across Europe: We Love Green in Paris, Splash in Berlin, Dour and Pukkelpop in Belgium, Best Kept Secret and Amcat in the Netherlands, DGTL in Barcelona, and End of the Road in the United Kingdom. In all of them, the accessories brand has presented the unique collaboration with multidisciplinary creative Pierre Debusschere, who has created an interactive installation for festivalgoers – in addition to the black and white video that’s making us wish it was June all over again.

For those lucky enough to attend the remaining festivals, you should know what is it all about so you can go to the Komono Festival Booth as soon as you get there – basically, before too much booze is running through your veins. The multidisciplinary Belgian creative has thought of a place where music, art, design, the physical and the virtual all merge into one. To achieve so, he’s created an interactive installation consisting of a video in which you are directly projected, thus becoming part of the upbeat digital rave. So if you’re attending DGTL in Barcelona, Pukkelpop in Belgium, or End of the Road in the United Kingdom, be sure to turn yourself into a Pierre Debusschere artwork.
