Bottega Veneta has recently released a stunning short film titled Craft in Motion, directed by Massimiliano Bomba, who has collaborated with the brand in previous campaigns. The film showcases the artistry and skill of the brand's craftsmen and women, who create some of the most exquisite and coveted pieces in the fashion industry.
Through the eye of Bomba and narrated by Ruggero Negretto, one of the brand's most senior craftsmen, we are taken on a journey through the Bottega Veneta workshop in Montebello Vicentino, and shown behind the scenes the intricate and laborious process of creating each piece, including the Cabat, Kalimero and Sardine models. From the selection of the finest materials to the meticulous attention to detail in every stitch, the film celebrates the craftsmanship and dedication that goes into the creation of each Bottega Veneta masterpiece.

But perhaps the most impressive aspect of Craft in Motion is the way it showcases the human element of fashion design. The film offers a glimpse into the lives of the artisans who create Bottega Veneta's iconic pieces, highlighting their passion, dedication and creativity, showing how the brand has embraced innovation while still honouring its heritage and tradition. As the camera follows the artisans at work, we see the intense concentration on their faces as they meticulously sew, cut and shape each piece. We also hear the sound of the treatment of the leather and the soft murmur of thread running along the seams.

Craft in Motion captures the essence of Bottega Veneta and its commitment to timeless design and exceptional craftsmanship. It is a celebration of the beauty and artistry of fashion, and a tribute to the talented artisans who make it possible.
