You know a high end store has got the balance right when it feels more like an interactive art gallery and museum than somewhere that is geared up only for sales. Design, elegance, taste — these foundational ideas for luxury are exemplified in TheArsenale’s new space in Dubai that opened just last week in Wafi City, one of the city’s oldest and most iconic retail destinations.
The stylish concept store features glistening motorbikes, Bogarde x Dior Silver BMX and all manner of sleek vehicles, including models that line the walls and an engine that looks like a human organ. It’s an ambitious project, pulled off thanks to a collaboration with HH Sheikh Ahmed Bin Mana Al Maktoum, Deputy Chairman of Wafi Group. TheArsenale is resolutely modern, with a touch of the royal.
At the opening in Wafi City, the Sheikh, who’s also an automobile aficionado welcomed the gathering; “We are proud to welcome TheArsenale to Dubai. Together, we aim to create a space that reflects the UAE’s commitment to progress, creativity, and global excellence; a destination where the future of mobility can be imagined and experienced.”
Their latest retail innovation in the UAE adds to the existing TheArsenale flagship store in Monaco, where the Mobilize Duo x TheArsenale powered by Renault launched at Fairmont. This new development in Dubai proves Founder and CEO Patrice Meignan and Creative Director Marcela Meignan’s intention to make a global name for TheArsenale is well under way. What’s more, the mobility brand’s presence in Miami, New York, Macau, Doha and Paris continues this healthy ecosystem.
More than just rare objects curated with flair, this store signifies a lot more. Patrice Meignan reflected: “Dubai embodies everything TheArsenale stands for ambition, creativity, and a bold vision of the future. This opening is not just about expanding our presence; it’s about creating a platform for innovation and storytelling at the crossroads of design, technology, and culture.” A concept store it is, and a cultural hub where avant-garde vehicles, collectible machines, and design masterpieces come together to shape the future of motion.
