Liam Gallagher’s fashion helped define much of what the lads were wearing in the ‘90s and early 2000s. Laid-back, comfy and, above all, very rock and roll. Without any endorsement, the Oasis frontman was seen sporting Stone Island clothes onstage, on the street, and elsewhere. He even tweeted about it when someone stole one of his jackets! And today, much to everyone’s surprise, the match made in heaven was set in stone (pun intended). Lensed by David Sims, we see Liam wearing a 75411 Jock-23_AW '983-'984 archive piece, very suiting for his very recognisable style. Next to the picture, Gallagher answers a short questionnaire thought by art critic Hans Ulrich Orbist, where he confesses that his favourite season is “football season,” the best city is “Manchester City. And Manchester the City,” or that he’s grateful “For everything. I fucking love being alive. It’s amazing.”

But he isn’t the only one. Together with him, other artists star in the second instalment of the ‘Community as a form of research’ project by Stone Island. One of them is Peggy Gou, who confesses to being proud of her work ethic, being impatient, and living by the motto “If you don’t ask, you don’t get.” There’s also musician skateboarder Sage Elsesser, who admits that his parents taught him that he is loved, plays the congas and the batá, and meditates to clear his mind. And last but not least, actor Russell Tovey, who answers candidly that he’d recognise his dog’s smell with his eyes closed, has his home’s walls covered in art, and might want to run and art institution.
