Samsøe Samsøe unveils its Fall/Winter 2025 campaign, WHERE THE LIGHTS MEET, photographed in Berlin by Philipp Paulus. The shoot takes place in and around Potsdamer Platz, both at street level and in the train station below, placing the season’s looks in the very environment they’re designed for: the fast-moving, layered streets of a modern metropolis.
This season’s concept centres on the theme of connection, inspired by lasting relationships and the materials that can endure with them. The collection emphasises longevity, with pieces crafted from leather, denim, and other durable fabrics, intended to evolve over time rather than fade. Models Nina Marker and Yura Nakano embody this vision in a setting that represents both arrival and departure. Two symbolic props add unexpected depth: a beanbag chair, hinting at moments of waiting, and a lime-green frog, chosen for its association with prosperity and the care required to nurture relationships. The shade of green also ties back to the Radiant Connection installation presented at Copenhagen Fashion Week, now echoed in the glass panels of the station.
A complementary video series adopts a split-screen format, pairing close-up shots of the garments with scenes of Berlin’s distinct character. From the TV Tower at Alexanderplatz to the iconic Ampelmann pedestrian signal, the imagery celebrates what sets Berlin apart from other cities, positioning it as a natural stage for the collection’s individuality.
