If you weren't familiar with this silhouette, you're in for a treat. Puma and Louis Gabriel Nouchi are back at it, reimagining the Mostro Mule. This time around, the French designer, with his distinct eye for form and function, breathes new life into the 1999 silhouette, presenting it in two colorways. The design retains its signature spiked sole, now streamlined into a backless, laceless form, offering an effortlessly chic slip-on experience. Crafted entirely from a single, innovative rubber construction, the Mostro Mule emerges in earthy brown and deep forest green, embodying both radical design and understated elegance.
Louis Gabriel Nouchi has taken the original Mostro’s vibe and distilled it into a minimalist, yet super distinctive mule. It’s clear he poured his vision into making a shoe that’s both a statement and a basic to wear. On the other side, Puma, known for its athletic spirit and comfy designs, found common ground with Nouchi in the powerful and graceful essence of their feline namesake. The result? A shoe that perfectly blends inspiration from classic track spikes and the fluid aesthetics of surf footwear. This creates a unique mix of refined strength and urban style, proving that when these two creative forces unite, magic happens. And this second delivery is simply more proof of that.
The Puma Mostro, is available starting May 31, at select Puma stores.
