The internet is obsessed with Pedro Pascal: he’s cute, gentle, funny, outspoken, stylish — he has it all. It doesn’t come as a surprise then that Chanel wanted the Chilean American actor by their side. So, in a not-so-surprising turn of events, they’ve named Pascal their new House Ambassador, forging a partnership that blends cinema and fashion.
Known for starring in hit TV shows like The Last of Us, The Mandalorian or Game of Thrones, as well as films like Eddington, Fantastic Four, or the upcoming Behemoth!, Pedro Pascal has not only conquered us on screen but also out of it. His cool style, bright smile, and natural charisma are some attributes that have earned him the ‘Internet daddy’ title. Now, he’s added another one to his impressive resumé: Chanel Ambassador. But we should’ve seen it coming when Pascal attended Matthieu Blazy’s first collection for the House in October, or when he dressed in Chanel for the 98th Academy Awards ceremony.
In an official statement, Pascal admits that he loves “Matthieu’s vision, which I find powerful, elegant, and incredibly warm: it shows me how we could exist together, there’s something for everyone in his universe. I am happy and honoured to join it and I am eager to see what Matthieu has planned for the future of Chanel. The House has a remarkable ability to honour its heritage while remaining modern and relevant, and I am excited to be part of that evolving story.”
Matthieu Blazy also has some nice words for Pascal (who doesn’t?): “Pedro is a wonderful man and an incredible actor. His kindness, talent, and his vision of the world are both inviting and inspiring. We are thrilled to welcome him to the Chanel family and I’m happy to embark on this adventure together.
