Celebrating twenty years of creative innovation, Patta continues to honour its roots in hip-hop and music culture with the launch of their Fall/Winter 2024 collection. Staying true to their identity, the campaign takes the form of a biannual music video, spotlighting artists from the Dutch brand’s ecosystem who inspire and energise its DNA.
This season, the spotlight is on UK-based artist 8SZN, whose eclectic style spans rap, hip-hop, jazz, R&B, soul, and alternative genres. 8SZN’s track Heata sets the tone for the campaign video, which showcases key pieces from the F/W collection against a raw outdoor backdrop. The video also captures the essence of the collection, blending the vitality of urban life with the serenity of nature.
Nature takes centre stage. Patta draws inspiration from the vibrant flora of Suriname, the intricate patterns of subtropical forest leaves, and the digital camouflage trend. Each season, the brand pushes the envelope with new materials and finishes, and this new drop is no exception. Garment dyes, enzyme washes, and even changeable taffeta create a unique aesthetic that's both sophisticated and undeniably organic. Familiar silhouettes are reimagined with seasonal colours and prints, offering a look that’s both new and comfortably familiar. Textures are a highlight this season, with eye-catching pieces like tree bark prints, laser-printed denim, and striped mesh.
The F/W 2024 collection boasts an array of standout pieces like the limited-edition 20th-anniversary varsity jacket, the nature-print boxy hooded sweater and jogging pants for a laid-back vibe, or the statement-making reflective camo suit and poncho.
